The last comment I left is something I feel strongly enough about to copy/paste here, just to make sure you see it.ĭisregarding u/BaronNobody 's well reasoned comments about risky downloads, yes, even though FXhome gave away Hitfilm Express for free (and still has a free tier), it can still be pirated.įree or not, Hitfilm is still proprietary, copywritten software, which, in simplest terms means FXhome/Artlist has the legal right to distribute the software (or not) and control which third party sites are allowed to host downloads of the software (or not).
